El Campeonato Abierto de los Estados Unidos
El Campeonato Abierto de los Estados Unidos se juega desde 1904 en esa ocasión se jugo en el Bronx, siendo sus ganadores el equipo The Wanderes venciendo en la final a la representación del hoy legendario Meadow Brook, luego de unos años se volvió a jugar en 1910 en momentos que el ganador fuera el equipo británico de Ranelagh, a partir de entonces solo sufrió dos interrupciones en 1912 y durante la segunda guerra mundial, a partir de 1945 se juega anualmente y sin interrupciones. Meadow Brook, Hurricanes, Outback y Valiente son algunos de los equipos que mas veces han ganado este torneo.
United States Open Championship
The United States Open Championship has been played since 1904. In the first historical game was played in the Bronx with The Wanderes winning in the final representation of the legendary Meadow Brook. A few years passed, and it was then played again in 1910 with the winner being a British team of Ranelagh.
Thereafter, it suffered two interruptions in 1912 and during World War II. From 1945 onwards, it has been played annually.
Meadow Brook, Hurricanes, Outback and Brave are some of the teams that have dominated the tournament.
The tournament is now hosted by the International Polo Club.
